It takes about 90 minutes by train from London Waterloo to Bedhampton station which is half a mile away, and about 75 minutes from London Waterloo to Havant station which is 1½ miles away and where there are taxis available. It takes about 1½ hours by car from central London.

The Old Mill House is a charming 18th Century house where John Keats finished his poem 'The Eve of St. Agnes' in 1819 and spent his last night in England in 1820. The house is situated on the edge of the attractive village of Old Bedhampton. It has its own outdoor heated swimming pool with views over the lake and garden. The spacious main sitting room has a piano and is a 25-foot double-aspect room overlooking the lake and stream with French doors to the terrace and garden.  

A second smaller sitting room has a working wood-burning stove. There is a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room, a dining room with a large dining table seating 16 people and a conservatory with views over the swimming pool and lake.
